Call for abstracts
The SASA 2026 Conference brings together the statistical community for five days of research presentations, workshops, and networking. We welcome submissions from all areas of statistics and related disciplines, from theoretical contributions to applied and interdisciplinary work.
We particularly encourage submissions from postgraduate students and early-career researchers. Student submissions are reviewed under the same criteria as other submissions and are eligible for the SASA student awards.

Submission guidelines
- Abstracts must be submitted in English and should not exceed 300 words.
- Include the full title, all author names and affiliations, and the corresponding author's email address.
- Indicate your preferred presentation format: oral presentation or poster.
- Student authors should indicate their student status — submissions will be considered for the SASA student awards.
- Presenting authors must be registered delegates at the conference.
- Each presenting author may submit a maximum of two abstracts.
- Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference programme and abstract book.
